The first book in the Bestselling Legend of the Archangel series by L.L. Hunter has been re-released in a special edition to celebrate the 10-year anniversary. See where the magical YA fantasy saga all began.
“Why I love YA fiction!”
“A very bittersweet tale of love, loss, lust and the pursuit of power... Spend time in a world of wings and bruised hearts... Well worth a read.”
“Brilliant story. Unique. Storylines keeps you hooked.”
Archangels are extinct and the world is inhabited by a half-human/half-angel race called Nephilim. But one Archangel remains – a child born of fire known as The Legend.
21-year-old Nephilim Scarlett Porter is starting her Angel training at the infamous Blackbell Academy, so she doesn’t have time to worry about dreams of mysterious dark angels.
The last thing she expected was her dream angel to be Dyston Blackbell, or that finding her was part of his mission – one Dyston is prepared to fail to keep Scarlett safe.
Danger is closer to Dyston and Scarlett than they realize.
War is brewing, led by The Lucifites, and they need The Legend to carry out their plans.
With the help of their friends, the two must find the Lucifites’s leader, and stop his plans for destruction.
But will Dyston and Scarlett’s love survive?
How far will Scarlett go to save those she loves most?
10 years ago, I never thought i would be here today, a full time author.
10 years ago, on June 14th 2012 to be precise, i sat on my back deck wallowing in the grief of losing not only my best friend and fur baby, Paris, but also my cousin to a tragic accident.
It was amongst that grief that i began to plot my very first novel.
At the time, all i had was an array of images and dreams to go by, but i had two characters almost fully formed: Scarlett and Dyston.
In fact, the prologue in The Chronicles of Fire and Ice as it is today was exactly how my dream played out.
Now, i had originally planned to do my promo for this special edition of the book in June, but my schedule didn't quite work. So instead, you're getting it now, in October.
Now, November 9th was actually the first publication date for the book, to a dodgy publisher, and a horrible time in my life, one i would rather forget. So I want to make new memories.
To celebrate the milestone, this month i will be revealing brand new character art from the book, of key characters and locations, and for the first time, The Chronicles of Fire and Ice will be available in Hardcover!
If you order a signed copy from my store in paperback or hardcover, you will get the 12 illustrated cards as a gift.
Starting in 2 days from the 17th, i'll be revealing this artworks on my socials, one each day until the publication of this special edition on October 31st.
Every order of a physical copy will receive a set of illustrated art cards.
