I'm finally getting back to author spotlights after life and work prevented me from blogging more. Sorry about that! If you're an indie author and you'd like a free blog spotlight, or if you want to write a guest post, feel free to message or email me.
Today on the blog with Evelyn A. Bernard. I'm excited about her books, to settle down and read them when time permits.

"It is a romantasy/dark romantic fantasy series, focusing on the lives torn by war, on both/all sides of the conflict. The main character Cassandrea is a spy and an assassin who is torn from her cosy undercover life to serve her dragon king once more.
Tropes: femme rage, morally gray characters, forbidden romance, enemies to lovers, lovers to enemies, he falls first
Other tropes/keywords: magical/mythical creatures, trials and small people doing great things in the face of peril.
There should be some trigger warnings: the books are dark and gritty and the world is a grim place for its people. There are several topics that people may find unsettling, varying from graphic violence to slavery, reference to experienced SA and other forms of abuse.
The spice starts slow, with the intention of every 'spicy' scene to have some kind of a purpose and a point in the plot. In first book it is closed doors, in second book the door is open."
Life was good. Cassandrea liked it the way it was. Not simple, but cosy. She owned a nice home in Borve, the capital of Ordeara, the southern kingdom ruled by a dragon king and his two sisters.
A kingdom of mild weather and pleasant people, where humans and magical creatures coexisted peacefully. There was literally nothing to complain about.
So life was good.
